Olivier De Schutter convenes an international seminar aiming to take stock of the potential of agroecological approaches to meet global food security challenges in the context of contemporary ecological, economic and climatic crises, and to identify best practices to scale up this model of agricultural development.

This seminar will bring together agroecology experts, decision-makers at national and international levels, and representatives of farmer organizations in order to reach policy recommendations, which could contribute to the future work of the reformed Committee on World Food Security.
