18 November 2009: 26th McDougall Memorial Lecture, FAO Conference (Rome)

The Special Rapporteur has been invited by the FAO to give the 26th Frank L. McDougall lecture at the FAO Conference on November 18th.

Frank L. McDougall was one of founders of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the U.N. To honor his memory, personalities from academia and the development community have delivered this lecture on issues of major global concern relating to food and agriculture for over 50 years, including Norman E. Borlaug, Indira Gandhi and Boutros-Boutros Ghali.
